How do I register for class?

There are two quick and easy ways to get dancing! You can register online here by entering all of the required info and selecting the classes you wish to attend. You'll also be able to pay your registration fee ($25.00) at that point.

You can also drop by the studio at any time within operating ours and our awesome office staff will walk you through the process right then and there!

What about 'placement testing'?

All students are required to participate in placement testing to ensure that every dancer at The Dance Warehouse is training at the correct level to maximize their growth as a performing artist. Once you register, we will schedule testing with you and make sure you're in the exact right class!

what's this 'registration fee'?

A one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $25.00 is required for each student. (So if you are registering more than one student, yes, that does mean that there will be a fee for each child.)

Do I need to pay the registration fee every year?

A family does not have to pay a registration fee for each new season, as long as the specific student remains active in our system. A student is considered inactive after 60 days of not being in a class. Students may be returned to active status without paying a new registration fee within these 60 days and up to 6 months after. After 6 months of inactivity, dancers are considered new students and will accrue a new registration fee.

II. Tuition Policy

How long will my child be in dance classes?

A: Our dance season is based on 42 weeks of the year, August – May. All tuition is paid on a monthly basis. Some months have 4 weeks and some have 5. However, your tuition does NOT change. Therefore, there is not a prorated tuition if there is a month with 3 weeks in it for your dance class.

What happens if I start my child before the beginning of a month?

If your dancer begins in the middle of a month, your tuition is divided by the number of weeks left in our dance year. Therefore, your dance tuition remains the same month to month.

When is the tuition for my dancer due?

Tuition is due on the 1st of each month.

What happens if I can’t pay on time?

If tuition is not paid by the 3rd of the month, a late fee of $25.00 is accrued on your TDW account. In the event that payment is not made, your card on file will be charged (for the tuition and late fee) no later than the 6th of the month. If you have additional concerns, please get in touch with our front office, and we will make every effort to figure out a plan that works for both you and the studio.

What happens if my check is returned to me?

If a check is returned, a fee of $35.00 will accrue on your TDW account.

What methods of payment do you take?

We accept all major credit cards, as well as cash and personal checks.

III. Classes + PRICING

What happens if my child has to miss a class?

If a student misses a class for any reason, they may make it up as long as it is within the month of the missed class. The parent must notify the front desk of which class the dancer will be attending to make up the class. The front office will notify the teacher.

Can my child try a class to see if they will like it?

Of course! We offer a “Free Trial Class” during our Fall/Spring season so that students/families unfamiliar with dance are able to “test the waters” of a class. A few stipulations: (1) The free trial is only for one class and cannot be used for another genre later on, and (2) the student must still be registered with The Dance Warehouse and sign in at the front desk.
